The Merrow 70-D3B-2 produces a single-thread butted seam, designed for the end-end seaming of woven material. The 70-Class Merrow machine produces the traditional 5/8" Merrow Butted Seam stitch, specifically designed to lay flat, allowing continuous feed in textile processing. This flat stitch also affords the even rolling of fabric without imprint and reduces the total amount of waste. The 70-D3B-2 sewing machine is the most versatile and reliable butted seam machine on the market. Processors of various kinds of fabrics use the Merrow Butted Seam to effect a saving in material and labor and to facilitate processing operations. The Merrow 70-Class is also available in GAP, RAIL, High Pile, Rolled Edge, and Chemical Nickel Plated (CNP) versions. The CNP coating resists the corrosive agents in wet fabrics.
